THAT WOMEN - WALLIS SIMPSON
Recently we just watched the film W.E
directed by Madonna.
This film was very inspiring for its drama as well as for
its costume design. We love how Wallis Simpson dressed through out her life.
Wallis
Simpson may have made headlines for charming King Edward while still being
married (a relationship that eventually forced him to abdicate) but she also
gained a reputation for her incredible collection of couture and a desire for
always wearing the most CURRENT fashion. She wore flapper dresses, wasp waisted
ballgowns and mod shift dresses- her wardrobe continues to inspire and
mesmerize.
25 years later we remember her for her impeccable
style.
