Flying Solo

On the plane to go meet my cousin in Paris.

Three essentials items when travelling: A cashmere jumper, an iPod and a good quality leather bag. 

Turkey - Istanbul 

In Turkey we visited the Grand Bazaar which is basically a massive market of jewellery and fake EVERYTHING. Now I am very apprehensive about fake bags however these bags looked so real. I did land up buying a leather jacket in the end but I just couldn't bring myself to buying a fake bag. 

My Mom's Sense of Style.

Having a mom who too loves clothes is definitely a part of the reason I have chosen to study Fashion. During this trip she looked so beautiful in her summer frocks and white jeans.

CHILLING by the pool side in my new hat. Nothing beats the sun of  Tel aviv. 

 I'm wearing Jack and Jack sunglasses and my sister Jess is wearing Ray Bans.

Here is my younger sister Olivia wearing a FAKE Missoni bikini (it's from Asos SHHHH!)and is sporting Ray Ban sunglasses. I seriously love this bikini even though it's not the real deal, it is very flattering and good to tan with. As well as dirt cheap !!

HOME SWEET HOME 

Gabi here! I have finally arrived back in Sydney after four and half weeks of being in EUROPE. I traveled the land of South Africa, Israel, Turkey, Paris, London and Greece. My travels were packed with fun, partying, SHOPPING and being with good friends and family. 

I was really inspired during this trip by the women that passed me on the street, the windows of signature stores (including the first Chanel store in Paris) and the art galleries I attended. Europeans seriously know HOW TO SHOP and how to fill their stores with the best of the best.

My second stop was Israel. Israel AKA jewellery heaven!! I have never seen such amazing bracelets and and rings....it was very overwhelming. 

This store was located in Neve Tzedek. Everything was so delicate and original. 

I bought four bracelets from this store. I realised I got really into summer when I got my nails done :) I chose OPI "No room for the blues". It's intense but sometimes you need to spark things up and get a little CRAZY.

The Courtin-Clarins Girls

"It" x 4

 Sisters Virginie and Claire Courtin-Clarins, and their cousins, Jenna and Prisca Courtin-Clarins, are who we're obsessing over at the moment. Their impeccable style is classy and eclectic, and we love the eye-catching statement pieces they wear. These fashionable "it" girls are the granddaughters of Jacques Courtin-Clarins, founder of French cosmetics brand, Clarins. The Courtin-Clarins girls are undeniably our newest style crushes!

We're almost ready to head back to uni next week...we're just getting prepared! Physically and mentally, of course.

This week we've been organising our workrooms - they're both in need of a serious revamp! 

We might make a quick trip down to IKEA on Saturday....um, fun much? We think so.

In the midst of cleaning out our workspace, we've been going through some of the work we've produced over the course of this year. It's strange, but it feels like a lifetime ago...
