LONDON FASHION WEEK

Recently is was Spring/Summer London Fashion week. There was rainbow metallic macs at Burberry, tennis inspired pleats at David Koma, stamp and banknote prints at Mary Katrantzou and crystal encrusted sheer bodycon at Marios Schwab.

Now, compared to other cities, LONDON is a little bit more outragious. This is evident in the London street style as well as the catwalks. We love how Londoners play with prints, textures and colour. No one seems to be interested in conforming to the TRENDS...it's all about risk-taking and having a bit of fun! Here are a few snaps shots of just SOME of the WILD outfits we spotted on the streets of LONDON TOWN.

We're loving this studded piece that our friend, JK, was wearing on Friday night. THAT WOMEN - WALLIS SIMPSON

Recently we just watched the film W.E directed by Madonna. 

This film was very inspiring for its drama as well as for its costume design. We love how Wallis Simpson dressed through out her life. 

 Wallis Simpson may have made headlines for charming King Edward while still being married (a relationship that eventually forced him to abdicate) but she also gained a reputation for her incredible collection of couture and a desire for always wearing the most CURRENT fashion. She wore flapper dresses, wasp waisted ballgowns and mod shift dresses- her wardrobe continues to inspire and mesmerize.

25 years later we remember her for her impeccable style.
